MUCS3805 Creative Project (3 units)
This GE Capstone Interdisciplinary Independent Study aims to train students to actively reach out to the community through engagements in music-related activities for the betterment of society. Students will work in groups under guidance of an appointed supervisor to identify, develop, plan and execute projects that will make a significant impact and contribution to the society by addressing the needs or issues of the community, such as social (in)equality (social Others, social inclusion and exclusion, social mobility) and sustainability. Student groups will meet and work independently throughout the semester. The entire class will meet several times during the semester to deliver progress report and presentation of the final project.
Students should refer to the department's GE Capstone Interdisciplinary Independent Study Handbook for details.
This GE Capstone will only be offered to students of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music Studies.
