The course aims to deliver the essential skills for students to work with popular content management systems for website design and production.
Students will acquire knowledge of the technical infrastructure to install and support CMS in a common web server. They will be equipped with the skills to communicate with web developers on technical requirements to create websites with CMS. The course will also introduce features of Web 2.0 applications with emphasis on user generated content. Students will be able to create a small-scale informational website by setting up a CMS platform with original content, such as their creative portfolio.
