HRMN3025 Occupational Health and Employee Wellness (3 units)

This course aims to introduce students to various theories, concepts and issues associated with the occupational health and employee wellness. After completing this course, students are expected to understand the relationship between employee health and wellness and organisational effectiveness as well as its contribution to corporate sustainability. It covers major concepts and practices in: (1) occupational safety and health; (2) employee physical, psychological and financial wellness; (3) promotion of employee wellness; and (4) delivering services associated with building a safe, happy, healthy and engaging workforce. The subject matter will be addressed through a mix of lectures, case analyses, and experiential exercises.
