GEST2007 Renewable Energy Technology (3 units)

This course covers the working principles of renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, water (hydroelectric, tidal and ocean wave), biomass and geothermal energy, as well as the technologies associated with their harvest for electricity production. By combining lectures with student-led projects, students not only acquire the fundamental knowledge of renewable energy technologies but also develop the practical skills to carry out projects that meet the community need.
