How do the latest technologies in virtual and augmented realities disrupt content and break traditional rules of storytelling? “Virtual Storytelling: Narration across Dimensions” is a core course for Arts-and-Technology majors and English majors. It is also designed for undergraduates looking to develop their storytelling concepts and practice for the 21st century. The course teaches both the theory and current practice of contemporary storytelling, ranging from multimodality to digital techniques, including introductory exposure to immersive learning strategies that have come to reform, expand, and define the art of storytelling for our time.
