In this course, students would learn the concepts and skills of Orton-Gillingham (O-G), an evidence-based effective pedagogy for teaching students with Dyslexia. Besides the O-G method, students would learn other effective teaching strategies such as VAKT, which's beneficical to other students with SEN as well. Moreover, this course provides some insights and examples to prepare hands-on teaching materials. That is, practice-oriented is the highlight of this course. The topics/strategies of this course would help in catering to the issues of learning difficulties, small class teaching, and the whole school approach.
