This course is intended to equip students with a foundational knowledge of Western Sinology, enabling them to expand their thinking and methodology, cultivate a global vision and adopt a comparative approach in studying Chinese-related topics. This new knowledge shall allow students to be more sophisticated in academic research and well prepared for further development in their careers and pursuits of higher degrees in the field of Chinese studies.
