This course aims to give a broad understanding of urban water resources management. Learners will be able to understand and distinguish among urban water resources; cause and effects of water pollution; the importance of framing policies on water quality monitoring, assessment, and setting water quality standards; water demand, supply, and post utilization collection; technologies for water and wastewater treatment; and strategies for innovative urban water utilization, protection, and management.
