This course stresses the systematic generation and analytical use of accounting information from the perspective of business management. Accounting information aid managers in critical business activities like operational planning, performance evaluation, governance controls, and regulation compliance. This course will cover topics of financial accounting and management accounting. Financial accounting topics include the account cycle and financial statements for external reporting. Management accounting topics include activity-based costing, relevant costing, capital budgeting, and investment decisions.
