MUCS3195 Chamber Music Literature and Performance (3 units)
This course aims to deepen students' knowledge of chamber music repertoire, as well as its preparation and performance. Lectures covering chamber music's development will include not only historical and analytical study, but also practical training though in-class readings and performances. Students will play a wide variety of repertoire, involving both standard and lesser-known works. They will enhance their individual ensemble skills through careful score study and the application of rehearsal techniques.
