This course explores the current practice and emerging technologies in electrochemical energy storage, distribution and efficient energy usage. Topics on novel technologies such as primary batteries, high power density rechargeable batteries, hydrogen-based fuel cells, hydrogen production and storage, and supercapacitors will be discussed.
