GEOG4025 Geographical Imaginations (3 units)
This course introduces students to the important concepts and approaches in contemporary human and physical geography. We ask ‘how do geographers imagine the world?’, ‘how do geographers differ from other social scientists such as historians and sociologists?’ and ‘how do students develop their own geographical imaginations?’. This course addresses these questions by connecting key trends in Western geographic thought with the experiences of students living and studying in Hong Kong.
