The proliferation and advance of disruptive technologies, if being appropriately applied, create expanded opportunities for companies to gain competitive advance. This course introduces different disruptive technologies and their applications in business, including the high performance computing-related technologies such as AI, and big data; blockchain-related technologies such as Ethereum, NFT (non-fungible token) and focuses on how these technologies are put to work improving business performance and management.

The course includes topics related to fundamental issues of disruptive technologies, the application of disruptive technologies in business, and the dark side of disruptive technologies. Learning in this course will be accomplished through lectures, case studies, in-class exercises, group project and presentations.
