This course aims (1) to introduce students the curriculum aims and learning objectives of the junior secondary school subject Citizenship, Economics and Society with its 12 modules and related learning elements; (2) to develop students’ understanding of major models and strategies of effective teaching and learning of Citizenship, Economics and Society; (3) to increase students’ awareness of theory-driven and research-based instructional and assessment strategies; and (4) to enhance students’ ability to learn through self-reflection, experience sharing and observation of other teachers in action.
