This course aims to provide the economic theories and models for students to understand the macroeconomic environment under the trend of globalisation. In particular, the course covers topics in international trade, exchange rate and international capital movement. Current international economic issues such as trade protectionism, financial crises, and currency internationalisation will be examined through the lens of international economics.
