This course introduces the basic analytical techniques for examining "big data" as it pretains to accounting professionals. The focus of this course is to provide students with an understanding of data analystic thinking and terminology as well as hands-on experience with data analytics tools and techniques. Students will leave this course with the skills in assembling, visualising and analysing data using select data analytics tools and techniques that are extensively used in data analytics for accounting professionals.
