SOWK3215 Programme Development and Evaluation (3 units)
This course covers the basic concepts, approaches and methods, ethical concerns in developing and evaluating social and technological innovation programmes in relation to health, social innovation initiatives, and social services. Students will be introduced the process and models of programme development and design, procedures and types of programme evaluation, as well as the application of innovative technology and methods in programme development and evaluation. Students will have the opportunity to develop their own innovative programme ideas to advance health and social well-being of target users. Students will also gain hand-on experiences on how to present and disseminate the evaluation results professionally.
