This course is open to students of interdisciplinary concentration "Data and Media Communication" in the Department of Journalism. In this course students will integrate knowledge, skills and expertise learned and developed in previous years of study by individually producing either a substantial piece of produced Data Journalism; or an academic dissertation in data and media communication. In either case the Honours Project is a means of engaging the student in a piece of independent research that provides an analytical and critical evaluation of an idea. The course tests research and professional skills as well as the ability to apply theoretical insights.
