GAME4015 Game Physics, Dynamics, and Simulation (3 units)
The course introduces students to different types of physics and simulations commonly seen in games and computer animations such as particle physics, rigid and soft bodies, collision detection, fluid and cloth simulations. Students will learn the underlying mathematical principles of these physics and simulations and also the effective implementations in game design. After finishing the course, student will be able to enrich their games and creative works to engage the audience with captivating real-time physics and simulations effects.
