The aim of the course is to nurture communication workers with necessary data literacy at its core through case studies and hands-on practice of data skills.  Throughout the course, students will learn how to work with data, including finding data, identifying and evaluating data, analysing data, visualizing data, and reporting data.  Students will end the semester by producing data-based projects via a concrete process of conceptualization and realization of data for a specific topic of interest.
