CHI 7040 Selected Masterpieces of Chinese Linguistics and Etymology 中國語言文字學名著選讀 (3 units)
This course aims at enhancing students’ understanding of the work selected for the course. Students will also be guided to investigate the theoretical framework and evaluate the merits and shortcomings of the work. The training will help students establish a sound basis for research in Chinese linguistics and etymology.
