This course aims to introduce the contemporary concepts and theories of operations management and explore the enhancement of core competence and competitive advantage through effective operations and supply chain management. In particular, it discusses operations strategies, productivity, product and service design, strategic capacity planning, location planning and analysis, quality control and management, inventory management, JIT and lean operations, project management, and supply chain management.
