Anatomy and Physiology, the study on the structure and function of the body, are the foundation of western medicine. The laboratory sessions will supplement the concepts on Anatomy and Physiology covered in the lectures. Through these practical classes, concepts taught in lectures will be reinforced and enriched by means of audio-visual aids, tissue sections and hand-on experiences. The students will learn histological and functional aspects of human body through microscopic examination of cells and tissues, conducting various tests and examinations. Special emphasis will also be put on the application of the medical knowledge.
