This course provides an in-depth understanding of current orchestration techniques that involve the use of sample libraries, sequencing techniques and different types of software and hardware.

(1) Understand and apply traditional orchestration in combination with current techniques.

(2) Analyse orchestral scores of various styles and genres.

(3) Sequence music for each section of the orchestra using software and hardware.

(4) Create original scores using traditional and current orchestration techniques.
