This seminar series explores the development of various forms of documentary, contemporary issues and problems surrounding the form. The course requires a flexible, alert and adventurous approach to the philosophical and practical issues that inform historical and current practice. While major concepts and practices as well as issues of great importance will be closely scrutinized one or two interesting or challenging topics will be chosen to examine in greater detail every semester.
