After one year placement in various outpatient wards in the GuangDong Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, students have grasped the basic theories and skills of Chinese medicine clinical practice. On this basis, 12 units (12 weeks) of specialist enhancement training is arranged with the following aims and objectives: (1) to enhance clinical theories and skills of Chinese medicine in areas of internal medicine, surgery, gynaecology, pediatrics, acupuncture and orthopaedics and traumatology; (2) to enforce training in Chinese medicine theories of differentiation and treatment and practical skills; and (3) to learn and write essay from the unique experiences of the supervisory teachers. All practices can help students to adapt clinical works as soon as possible after graduation.
學生在完成一年畢業實習基礎上，再通過12週中醫專科“師帶徒”形式的學習，進一步加強在獨立診治中醫內科、外科、婦科、兒科、針灸科、骨傷科等專科常見疾病方面的能力，並能夠總結中醫專科導師獨特的臨床經驗（整理成論文），有助於畢業後能盡快適應香港中醫臨床診療工作。
