In the 21st century, rapid changes and compounding uncertainties are the new normal for businesses across the globe.  Therefore, effective risk management has become a necessary business tool to meet existing, new and unknown challenges.  In this course, students will appreciate the role and importance of enterprise risk management, the processes and techniques that can support a company to ensure that effective assessment, monitoring and control of risk are in place.  In addition, this module shall include an analysis of its links with good corporate governance practices, embedding business continuity capabilities and the building blocks of robust compliance management that are integral to delivering good risk management outcomes.
