This course aims to cover key issues and the applicable laws and regulations for financial markets. It will include an overview of the regulatory framework in financial, banking and securities law, especially dealing with product and business conduct. It will also provide the foundations for the study of financial crimes including anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, fraud, as well as corruption in the Hong Kong context.
