This course aims to provide students with a basic understanding of a healthy lifestyle and ways of developing a physically active life by participating table tennis. It is always easy to start doing exercise but hard to keep it as a regular basis. Therefore this course will introduce not only the basic skills and tactics of table tennis, but also provide different games to let students to get active in class and to experience the benefit of exercising. Table tennis is a good aerobic exercise and can enhance brain workout, improve reflexes, balance and coordination at the same time. Students will experience the excitement and happiness through missions or games in classes. Forming teams with classmates will also enhance students’ social connection. Upon completion of this course, students shall develop the habit of exercising, to recognize their own physical health, which is vital to improve and maintain the health.
