This course provides an overview of the fundamental elements of social group work process and practice and promotes the foundation knowledge of the major theoretical perspectives and practice approaches of social group work. It also facilitates students to develop knowledge of practice issues, ethics, and skills in assessments, planning and implementation in various settings. Students will develop their mastery of group work knowledge and skills through participating in variety of group exercises and practice.
