This course aims to provide students with basic techniques to write computer programs for the problems in mathematics and statistics. Computer programs become essential tools for research and practical analysis in different fields of science. Students will learn the concepts to write useful programs and to implement some basic algorithms in mathematics and statistics. The mathematical software in this course can be MATLAB, Python, or R.
