This course is one of the bridging courses set up for Computer Science students under the Interdisciplinary Concentration on Data Media and Communications scheme. The course is to introduce students who have had no prior experience with the field of journalism and communication to its diverse areas of study and its fundamental concepts. It can also provide a common foundation for students by presenting both a social process and a professional practice of journalism and communication.
