The objective of this course is to give students a basic knowledge of the various aspects of the infectious diseases and immunology diseases that include the major manifestation, clinical features, complications, prognosis, management and prevention.
Infectious diseases cause morbidity and mortality in man despite the advent of immunization and antibiotics. It is important that healthcare givers are familiar with the general aspects of the infectious diseases, including epidemiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatments. Immunology diseases is the topic on the disorders in immune system, including but not limited to autoimmune diseases and rheumatic diseases, which affect people at all ages.
