MGNT7230 Managing People (3 units)

The major purpose of this course is to help students acquire and develop effective managerial skills that are grounded in behavioral science theory and research. Through learning this course, students are expected to become aware of their own management skill levels, integrate theory and practice to ensure the development of relevant managerial skills and recognize the importance of continuous learning as an aid to managing people for change in a global context. The course is presented as an integrated, comprehensive learning model designed to change the student's behavior. Much of the classroom time will be devoted to discussion, and to skills assessment, analysis and practice.
