This course provides an overview of Liberal Studies (LS) as a subject and Personal, Social and Humanities Education (PSHE) as a Key Learning Area in Hong Kong secondary schools. The course will link LS with Liberal Education and its application in tertiary and secondary education, and introduce issues related with LS curriculum and pedagogy. Connection between LS and PSHE will also be elaborated.
