This course introduces Chinese literature written by authors in different dynasties. Its focus is on schools, authors, genres and periodizations. Students will learn to analyse the artistic and imaginative use of Chinese language, and develop the ability to think creatively and critically. The course aims to nurture students’ understanding of Chinese literature, which helps establish knowledge for their creative works in the future.
